The Bolivian wind atlas was a nice complement to 3TIER’s REmapping the World initiative, which will provide the critical information that has been missing to make renewable energy a viable choice: information regarding the availability and value of renewable resources. Our mission is to assist communities in developing countries that lack electricity, by making the information they need to decide how renewable energy can power their communities more accessible. The Bolivia project helped further 3TIER’s mission to map the world’s wind resources and is expected to help stimulate future development of wind power projects.
